Bio

Scarlet Maclain is an experimental and event photographer. Photographing events such as weddings, summer camps, and birthday parties, she takes time to capture those small moments that create lasting memories. Using a combination of digital and analog photography, Scarlet also has several personal projects creating surrealist portraits and scenes investigating emotion and how photography can portray human feelings. Scarlet currently resides in Austin, TX, and received her BFA in photography and media arts in May of 2022. This past summer (2022), Scarlet worked as lead photographer/ videographer at Camp Balcones Springs in Marble Falls, TX. She is excited to see what new opportunities photography will bring to her in the future.
